A True Friend

A true friend is someone always beside you whenever you need, be a good or bad situation.

In our life time we come across many people and some become closer to us. They are said to be friends. But not all  are our true friends.

As we grow, we realize that it becomes less important to have many friends, sometimes we leave the old ones and make new, only to know the true ones that  are important. Not always the old friends are true, new become the most important. Everybody needs a true friend in life to share the phases of life. We should try to be an ideal true friend, show people how to be a true friend.

Here are few tips about being a true friend.

1.  Always be with your friend. Make him/her feel confident and happy.
2. Be kind and listen to your friend. Open your ears and try to be a good listener, so they may feel that their is somebody who understands them.
3. Communicate openly with your friend. Try to share your stories, happiness, sadness, secrets, as they may feel free to share theirs back. Make your friend comfortable to communicate with you whether good or bad feelings.
4. Give support and encouragement. Try to be with your friend in wins and losses. True friends are always together in peaks and valleys of pains, joys, failures, success.
5. Accept as they are without any condition. Do not try to change a person, it never works. Infact, it hurts, when they come to know that they are not accepted as they are. Before trying to change your friend, feel the same for you, What if you are asked to change? Though, their characteristic is least admirable, accept them.
6. Always believe in each other. Try to show, you believe them by means of actions. It makes great impact on them. Your belief is most important for them.
7. Try to cheer up. When they are sad and upset, make them feel special and try to make them happy. Everybody goes through patches, someday you may need cheering up, so be happy and make them feel.

Everybody needs a meaningful connection. We need to create and allow opportunities to somebody to be with us. Its up to us to make true relationship – A True Friendship.
